Should an employer judge employees for conduct unrelated to their on-the-job performance? Corporate sponsors obviously want to maintain athletes as role models of conduct for children as reflected in their no-so-healthy products.

They are representing a company on and off the field so yes but everything in the media is exploiting football players' actions for propaganda. They want to promote more and more to allow government in people's lives rather it's a woman going to authorities instead of defending herself or they want kids to not be disciplined by their parents but instead taken to a psychiatrist where they can be given mind altering drugs to see how they react.
