Since gay guys are attracted to men, would it be possible for a gay guy to be attracted to a very masculine butch dike and visa versa?

Like could this possibly happen? Does anyone get what I'm saying here? Like pretty much they are both so far gay that the traditional man and women thing would just become a complete reversal and work out. This seems like it's had to happen before if to be "gay" is a natural occurring thing and not just a perversion, a fad, illness, or anything else unnatural; which I am thinking it must be naturally occurring not environmental but I don't know because I'm not gay.

Okay if sexual orientation is based on gender then why in the hell do butch dikes act so masculine and gay dudes act so feminine? It's all just an act? Well, Especially if it's only gender based.
Damn, is homosexuality just a mental illness or a fad or a perverse offset just to get your rocks off any way possible that's comfortable? Man I am confused.

Sexual orientation is based on gender. No matter how masculine a woman may present herself as, her gender is still female, and that is not something that is attractive to gay men.

In response to Bobbin and Xyrci:

Sex does not equal gender. Some men have vaginas, and not everyone with XY chromosomes is male. Implying that gay men cannot be attracted to anyone with a vagina is incredibly transphobic. Plenty non-heterosexual trans men use strap-ons with their male partners, and it is still sex between two men.

No. They want the genuine, male article, essential maleness, XY chromosomes and all, not faux male. Nor would a lesbian settle for an effeminate guy.

No, because their sex is female. Gay men are attracted to the same sex.
