Ok so i have a 2008 Dodge avenger RT awd. And my friend has a subaru impreza. Idk the year but its probably a 2006 with probably mid range options. Which car would be fastest 0-60 and 1/4 mile?
Oh and the impreza is a hatchback
also i think his is a 2012 not a 06. I'll probably go to the track someday and see.

Your Avenger R/T AWD will be significantly faster than an Impreza to any speed your friend would like to drag race you to, assuming your friend's Impreza is just an Impreza and not a WRX. Your car is (quite a bit) heavier, but it also has a 235hp V6. His Impreza has either a 2.0 or 2.5L flat four producing about 70 less horsepower.
If your friend has a WRX and not just the garden-variety Impreza though, then you're going to lose about as convincingly as you'd win if he has the non-WRX Impreza.

The Impreza could have anywhere from 150 to 400 hp depending on the model, so without knowing more about the car it's tough to say.

To give a proper answer we would need the HP rating on both, the Torque rating on both, the weight of both cars with the driver.
There are so many variables that factor in the answer.
