This guy is always staring and smiling at me, but we don't have a chance to actually talk?

We are both freshmen in college and are in the same math class. It's a smaller class of about 40 kids and assigned seats, so we sit on opposite sides of the room.

He is always turning around to shoot me glance and a smile. Clearly we are both interested in each other but we never have a chance to talk. I think he has a class after math because he always rushes out.

How can we make a connection?

BTW I sit on the back left row(row 5), near the door and he sits on in the front right row (row 3)

You can either talk to him or make him talk to you. The question is why is he not talking to you also? Maybe you have too much friends around and it would seem wieird just to pop in.

The mistake in college usually people make is guy brings their guy friend(s) or girls bring their friend or friends to class, makes them seem busier,

How? You can wait till he exit or wait somewhere near the area, then drop something, if he is interested he will make his way to pick it up for you, in a reasonable distance of course.

Probably would work best in a bedroom's distant apart.

Just sit by him or go over there for something and say something to him.
