helium balloon, what happens when barometric pressure changes?

say it;s just a dollar store balloon, mylar etc

say also you have balanced it with string or tape or whatever so that that i just floats, not going up or down

also say it isn;t particularly tight, it;s like a loose floppy bag of helium, it isn;t stretched out like a rubber balloon would be, so its volume can change easily with temperature or pressure or what have you

now say the barometric pressure drops some, but temperature stays same..

what will the balloon do?

Eureka he exclaimed as he ran down the street naked and dripping wet.

At least that is how the story goes when Archimedes discovered the principle of buoyancy. You need to consider two things: how does the change in pressure impact the density of the air and how does the change in pressure impact the volume of the balloon.

"You need to consider two things: how does the change in pressure impact the density of the air and how does the change in pressure impact the volume of the balloon."

ok but that is my question!

i don;t know!
