Take this 20-question quiz. It sounds like something advertized on late-night TV, but it is surprisingly accurate.

On a related note, half of the services at any given church are going to be below average. That's the nature of "average", not an insult to any particular church. So, if you decide to try one, go at least three times.

You should feel comfortable while you are there, and uplifted after the service. Their beliefs and yours should match reasonably closely. (Lots of Catholics use birth control, for instance, and some Baptists drink.)

The truth is that: ALL of the Churches are guilty of abominations, and what they teach is brainwash!

First of all the New Testament story of Jesus is obviously false, and that's why the Jesus story in the Koran is different from the New Testament version.

Babylon is Christianity! The Catholic Church is the mother, and all the different Churches that came from it are her child whores!
The Catholic Church wrote the Bible and it is the beginning of, or mother of Christianity.
Christianity is the pagan cult in Rev. 17:5 BABYLON the Mother of Whores.

Also the Catholic Church wrote the Bible which is fabricated in many places. The story of Jesus in the Bible is different then the Quran because it's a copy of Mithraism.

1) Hundreds of years before Jesus, according to the Mithraic religion, three Wise Men of Persia came to visit the baby savior-god Mithra, bring him gifts of gold, myrrh and frankincense.

2) Mithra was born on December 25 as told in the “Great Religions of the World”, page 330; “…it was the winter solstice celebrated by ancients as the birthday of Mithraism’s sun god”.

3) According to Mithraism, before Mithra died on a cross, he celebrated a “Last Supper with his twelve disciples, who represented the twelve signs of the zodiac.

4) After the death of Mithra, his body was laid to rest in a rock tomb.

5) Mithra had a celibate priesthood.

6) Mithra ascended into heaven during the spring (Passover) equinox (the time when the sun crosses the equator making night and day of equal length).

Just common sense can tell you that Christianity is brainwash from the beginning.

I would suggest that you go to a church that is One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic. You must seek for a divine faith working out your salvation with fear and trembling. Every ego mind wants to believe they are following truth. They create a God in their own mind that allows them to live a life without sacrifice or suffering. They create a church based on a pre supposition not on divine faith. So ask Christ to show you the truth. Read up on the different Christian religions and pray to the Holy Ghost for guidance as you search for the truth. You must do this for yourself or else all you will be left with is following another persons interpretation of what they believe is the truth.

Any church you choose should teach the Word of God. You should feel comfortable going every week. Unfortunately, God does not tell us what church to go to, so you will look for churches on your own. You may also have to visit a lot of churches before you find the right one. Good Luck and God Bless.

Choose the church that would mos likely reflect the Nicene and Athanasian creeds. Also make your choice based upon whether they do expository preaching or topical preaching.
