In a good book I read online called "Communication With the Spirit World of God -It's laws and Purpose" it shows how Christ taught spirit guidance from Heaven, yet most churchy people today are almost violent against the idea of spirit communication with angels from Heaven for daily guidance. Why is that?

They want to control you with fear and do not want you to know the truth
In the beginning there was only God and he is made of magnificent energy more glorious than anyone can imagine. Everyone thinks he is an a form similar to man but he is not. And us as part of the divine are living this life in human form to learn and grow spiritually and when we are done we return to the divine source and we do maintain our individuality. I saw this in a vision and felt the presence of other souls and felt a love more wonderful than can be described in human terms. If only this could be conveyed to those who do not believe. A wonderful future awaits all who desire to return to our source of life and energy and from which all things were made. All souls are a part of him yet with a separate consciousness. All of us are a part of God and it is glorious and wonderful.

Anybody can say anything they want, but how do you even know it's true? The Bible has been proven trustworthy, and what you're saying contradicts the Bible, so I can only conclude that this is "an angel of light". The Bible says that satan can appear as an angel of light, and his messengers as messengers of light. This looks like it comes out of the teachings of satan. He was a liar from the beginning, and the father of all lies.
