Is a handgun with a capacity of 10+1 legal in Connecticut?

Question

The new bill SB 1160 says that magazines can carry only 10 rounds. So does that mean that a gun that holds 10+1 is illegal? I'm not sure because technically the one is not part of the magazine. So is the law saying that the gun cannot hold more than 10 period? I am looking to take the class to get my pistol permit. I was looking at the SCCY CPX-2 CB 9mm Pistol, which I heard holds 10+1. Don't know about your state, but most laws that limit the capacity of a gun are talking about restricting the size of the clip or magazine, so one in the chamber does not count.
