My friend didn't care about my birthday?

We've been friends for years now and we always get each other gifts. Her 13th bday was a week before mine and I spent about 80 dollars, which is a lot for me, on her gift. And I got her just what she wanted because I remember her talking about what she wanted a couple of months ago. On my bday  she didnt get me anything. She didnt even say happy bday. I thought there was some sort of surprise waiting for me but Its been 2 weeks and I give up. This just really hurt my feelings.

I know it sucks, hard lesson to learn here. It may be that your friend doesn't have money to get you a gift. Maybe she was embarrassed to even say happy birthday to you because she had no gift for you. But, $80 is a lot of $ to spend on a friend for her 13th birthday. Don't buy gifts with the expectation that the gift giving will be returned. That isn't the point of giving gifts.

She's not your friend. She takes you for granted and you need to cut her off. Unfriend her on social networks and disappear from her life.
