This is a relatively new phenononym that FDA regulation changes started to allow maybe a decade ago. (Thanks to lobbyists) it's really not right having patients telling their doctors what they want to e prescribed. The disclaimers describing the 50 ways it might kill you, given while showing happy users is one compromise to allow these commercials. People still have the power of choice.

No, they should not, but Congress, under RePIGnican influence, has cut funding so substantially for FDA that that agency is powerless.
