Does a Canadian citizen have to pay Canadian taxes if their permanent address is in the US and they are working for a US company in the US?

Please reference tax code law number and any penalties involved. Would the same laws apply if the Canadian citizen has applied and received Resident Alien status in the US. (Canadian came down on NAFTA). Thanks!

I believe that this is the case... until you move completely down there. Check out the CRA website though
