Can time be sped up?

I know it s theoretically possible to slow down time for people depending on gravity and on speed/velocity, but is the opposite possible? I mean, theoretically speaking. I can t seem to find an answer when searching the internet?

"Can time be sped up?"

If it can be slowed down, it can be sped up. But you have to be clear on what you mean, and you have to realize... the clock sitting beside you will always tick at a correct (for you) rate.

"I know it s theoretically possible to slow down time for people depending on gravity and on speed/velocity,"

Time passage for them, seems normal, however. It is *you* that sees them aging more slowly.

"but is the opposite possible?"

In the case of relative motion, they see you aging more slowly too, by the same factor you would apply to them. With gravitation or acceleration, they see you aging more quickly, by the same factor you would apply to them.

"I mean, theoretically speaking. I can t seem to find an answer when searching the internet?"

Your question is not clear. Consider this particle:

... for it, the entire history of the Universe would be a few tens of days. So this speeds up the entire rest of the Universe.

Are you wanting the equivalent of the wristwatch in the movie "Clockstoppers", where your personal time rate is increased by a factor of a million or so? If so, then the Alcubierre drive is your only hope, using negative matter or negative energy brought to us by Magic Pink Fairies. You should be able to set any "clock rate" relationship you want between the inside of this field, and the Universe at large.

Special Relativity states that time can be distorted.It can be gravity or speed.
Now i'll answer your original question...

Suppose a jet traveling in a fast here speed on earth.While i lazily just sitting here.Now as Einstein said that the faster you move the slower the time you experience.

That means for Example

ME and the Jet are still on the ground not moving
Me = 1:00 pm Jet1:00 pm

Therefore we experience time both

Consider tha jet moves while i stationary,If the jet experience time slower then...

ME=1:01 Jet =1:00

Then lets say this jet never stops then it can make a difference

Me=4:05 pm Jet:2:00 pm

If the jet experience time slower then the jet is traveling to my future
Then.

My reference frame
Me=Normal Jet:Slow=That jet is travelling slow
Jets reference frame
Me=Fast Jet=Normal=That means he can see me age faster therefore he is traveling to the future.

By convention time can be speed if you are moving in a fast speed compared to someone in the ground at rest.

Start having some fun. Time flies. Ask anyone.

yes. you have to travel at the speed of light, then once u stop youll see your in the future.
