I am a Roku Newbie, What Networks, (ABC,NBC,CBS,Fox,PBS,etc have content that can be watched Free on Roku without paying for Hulu Plus?

I am thinking about getting a Roku and was wondering what Content was available from the Major Broadcast Networks, If we can watch it later we won't have to DVR it
example Ellen, Good Morning America, The View, The Talk, The Chew, etc.
I would prefer to watch as much as possible without a Hulu Plus or Netflix subscription

Without a cable subscription, there isn't much. Some apps have a handful of episodes from a couple shows, but most do not. If you watch a lot of tv, then hulu is your best bet. The fox app only has clips of shows. PBS probably has the most free content of all the major networks. My suggestion would be to learn how to download torrents, then stream to your tv through plex. Or talk a friend with cable into letting you use his authorization codes to truly unlock things. If you're looking for lots of free content with ota networks, you're going to be disappointed.
