is Jesus Christ into smashing people's tablet phones?

Because when he walked the earth, he was always demanding people to give up everything they had to follow him. 2,000 years ago, people did not have tablet phones, but they had other things - little as it was.

Nowadays, people still don't have all that much, but most people have tablet phones which they use most of the time for business, personal use, internet, storing their photos, etc, etc, etc.

So if Jesus walked the earth today, would he demand people give up their tablet phones - would he smash them?

Is Jesus, from his throne in the sky into smashing peoples tablet phones? I see so many people with BADLY CRACKED tablet phone screens. I'm quite sure they didn't do it on purpose. So, did Jesus Christ try to smash their phones? Twice, my phone nearly slid off my table onto the floor. I did not do it on purpose. Did Jesus Christ try to smash my phone?

Is Jesus Christ in the business of smashing peoples tablet phones

Yeah, people like Jesus was meek and mild but he wasn't. When he said blessed are the meek, he didn't mean himself, he meant his followers should be meek.

Yes, Jesus truly did want people to give up everything but him. Everything. You know those cult leaders who want their followers to sell everything they own? That's what Jesus was like. He truly was a cult leader. Not the first cult leader and not the last one either.

Nowadays Christianity has been diluted so it can be compatible with a normal lifestyle but if modern Christians tried to live like Jesus's disciples, they would find it doesn't meet their expectations. Jesus demanded absolute loyalty.

Jesus would be mad at people's smartphones. He would want to smash them just as he smashed the tables in the temple. Not only smartphones but your TV, your car, your computer, etc. Jesus would be mad at anyone who had anything more than the bare necessities of survival. Jesus wants you to have only two things. The barest necessities to survive and faith in him.

I'd rather take my chances as a heathen than give up my Xperia phone. I'd rather go to tell than give it up. It's worth more to me than my soul. If I was Jesus I'd be smashing all the iPhones because I like Androids better.

"Because when he walked the earth, he was always demanding people to give up everything they had to follow him."
I think he only actually told one person to do that, as Christians tend to be quick to point out, as few of them want to take it seriously. Of course, this raises the question of why it was thought necessary to put it in the scriptures at all, if it was only a private message to one person.

"Nowadays, people still don't have all that much, but most people have tablet phones"
Really? I would have thought that people who have tablet phones also have far more other possessions than the vast majority of people in history.

I doubt that Jesus would go around smashing people's phones. The only record of such behaviour by him in the Bible was when he thought people were committing sacrilege by trading in the temple.

It was Moses who trashed the first Tablet long before Apple invented one...

If we had computer tablets 2000 years ago there would have been no Jesus character... There would have been a lot less gullibility ....

I dont know. But these computer devices aren't all bad. It is playing a role in knowledge of God growing bounding too and fro. In fact i'm quite amazed at how deep the lessons are of people who have studied the scripture and reported of it in these days.

It has deepened and nourished our understanding of it.
