Theists who claim atheism is a religion, what is your idea of a non-religious state?

Since you seem to be sure atheism is a religion somehow, what would a person have to be to be considered non-religious?

According to creationism: Atheism will be defined in the contemporary western sense: not just the lack of belief in a god, but the assertion about the non-existence of any gods, spirits, or divine or supernatural beings. Atheists in this sense are metaphysical naturalists, and as will be shown, they DO follow a religion.

A feeble effort to reduce atheism to the depths of religions.
It of course only shows the dishonesty of those making that claim.
Those who deny reality are prone to making all sorts of stuff to replace that reality with.
But it only works inside their own heads.
It doesn't reflect on reality at all.

It's self-explanatory what a non-religious state is. A place without religion, or, therefore, lacking.

Russia is a good example of this.

Well this is very easy to answer - non-religious means not believing in, and not worshiping, a higher supernatural power... what most people would call "god".

As atheists DO believe in god and worship him... oh, wait.... my brain hurts.
