The collapse of the Von Erich family -- the painful drama played out in public over years and it was a train wreck that seemingly could not be prevented.....it was a family that could not prevent skeletons in the closet from consuming their lives.

There have been a number of tragic Deaths in Professional Wrestling over the last 32 Years. Chris Candido dying in The Hospital while being treated for an injury from a Wrestling Match. Mike Awesome, Flyboy Rocco Rock, 911, John Kronus, Junkyard Dog, The British Bulldog, Brian Pillman, Bruiser Brody, Yokozuna, Road Warrior Hawk, Mr. Perfect, Eddie Guerrero, Art Barr, David Von Erich, Chris Von Erich, Kerry Von Erich, Mike Von Erich, Gino Hernandez, Gentlemen Chris Adams, Owen Hart, Chris Benoit, Test, Sherri Martel and many others.

I would say the death of Owen Hart. The reason being that it happened in public at a live pay per view event May 23 1999. This was truly a tragedy which thousands of people witnessed live and many more witnessed on television. The other were no doubt tragic but they did not happen in front of the world in a public setting.
