A day without games in Japan?
I've heard they claimed to establish some kind of "no games day" to keep kids away from gadgets and online addictions... so my question is "what day of the week is that?"

It's not held in the entire Japan. It's only in Hokkaido. And it's the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month.
