Dog with allergies, already tried food, dinovite, steroids, etc, how much is the real testing and meds for allergies?

Probably not. While some allergy problems are genetic, many of them can be developed over time just as a result of a dog's diet, or as mentioned above the allergy may be to the way the food is processed rather than the actual meat, etc. Not unless I saw a problem consistently showing up in a dog's offspring would I really see it as a problem.

Every Vet has different fees, and since this is a global site, we don't even know which continent you live on. Call your Vet and ask them how much they charge, or if you're doing price comparing, call several Vets in your area. The price of meds would vary too, because until any testing is done, nobody could predict what meds would be dispensed, if any at all.

depends on where you are. in my clinic we charge just under $500 for the testing and first vial of serum. we do the serum testing. if you go to a dermatologist for the scratch testing you will pay a great deal more.

Ask the vet providing the tests.
