Looking for new comuter, help?

Im really am not sure what to look for in a computer so Im looking for suggestions on what to look for.

I have a dell inspirion for 6 years but her time has come and I need a new one. I was very happy with the laptops performance.

I use Microsoft office often, I take lots of pictures, videos, listen to music and surf the web. I never play games.
Any suggestions? What should I look for?
