I gave a generally well behaved Golden Retriever. He has a bad habit of biting my coats, scarfs, skirts or other clothing while I am wearing it. He has ruined a few items and it is very distressing when it happens. Any tips on stopping it would be appreciated.

if its a young dog then thats normal and its just a phase.. if its older you must catch the dog in the act of doing it and then tell it no. if its jumping on you to bite your clothes you could also LIGHTLY knee him/her in the chest
