Does anyone remember hosting a McDonnalds Fair in their yard?

I m not even sure it was McDonnalds but I think it was. Sometime around 1970, I remember going to 1 or 2 of these; they called it a Carnival or a Fair but it just consisted 5 or so games like bean bag tosses and so on like that. You would set them up in your back yard. I guess you rented the games from McDonnalds for a small fee. You were supposed to host the fair to raise money for a charity like March of Dimes but I think some people had them as birthday parties instead.

So my question is this: Does anyone else remember these and can you confirm my really vague remembrances. I m not talking about having a party at McDonnalds. This is a long time before they had the party rooms.

Yes, I do remember this.    In the 70's ......McDonalds *was* heavily involved in Charity fundraisers. 
In our school.......we had a deal with McDonalds, that they allowed us to sell their orange flavored drink,  at school events like plays........ because the profit margin was so ridiculously high.    (One of their better money makers )  If the purpose was to raise money for a worthy cause......like the Jerry Lewis Telethon or something..........McDonald's would have these games you could rent and set up........(and I suppose what they got out of it, was all the free advertising....and community good will. )

I remember our school also finagled a deal with Dunkin Donuts......and if we went early early in the morning........they would just give us all the left over donuts from the Night before to sell......so the school could raise money.   Students would actually walk around with a box of donuts and sell  them for 25 cents apiece........ and all the money went into our fund raiser pool.
