Me and my roommate want to have a little bit of fun without making it too childish. We want to use a rubber duck themed shower curtain ironically and have it look nice with the rest of the decor, but we don't want it to be a child's bathroom... Ideas?

You can go for an eclectic chic hotel theme. Great bath towels, accessories and a rug from TJ Maxx, Marshall's or Target have good bath decorating options.

Find a shower curtain you like, and then choose one accent colour from it- like the bright yellow of the ducks. Buy your toothbrush holder, bath mat, towels, etc in the same shade of bright yellow- but keep them plain. You could also try adding 'adult' details like a wine glass holder by the bath, or a pot of 'adult' looking flowers- peace lillies are a good choice in a bathroom as they like the humidity. You could also try looking for or making a decal in your accent colour to put on the side of the bath, saying something like 'Get Naked!', which keeps the tone playful, but adult.
