My best friends ex tried to hook up with me? - HELP should i tell her?

Question

me and my friends all had a sleep over, my best friend was all flirty with this one guy and spent most of the night with him.. sleeping arrangements: she wanted to sleep with him and left me to sleep in the same room as all the boys.
so i never slept all night because this one guy ( my best friends ex - they only hooked up, they didn t have a relationship)
he tried to finger me and feel me up, i kept saying no, stop and that it wasn t right to do this to my friend, but he kept trying to do it( i was in shorts and a top)  he could tell i was enjoying the touching   but i kept saying no stop and moved his hands away. he didnt  end up fingering me but he did touch me there over my pants and he did touch my breast but i moved his hand away.

what do i do??
do i tell my best friend? i really don t want to hurt her or lose her as a friend.
if i don t tell her and she finds out some how then she could be mad that i didn t tell her 
or if i do tell her she could be mad.

if i do tell her, how do i tell her and what do i say?

Tell her. In the long run she'll see he was the asshole and that it wasn't your fault. I've been in the same position. But my best friend found out from someone else before I could tell her. And it ruined our friendship. Tell her. And be honest. From beginning to end tell her what happened and be gentle to her. Even though it wasn't a relationship she probably still has an emotional connection to him. So tell her. But be kind and put yourself in her shoes. Tell her how you'd want her to tell you.

I would tell her... If she hears it from someone other than you she's not going to like it.  If she is really your best friend the only person that she has a right to be mad at is him since you pushed his hands away and told him no

Whether it's as you say or if you had a little more of a part in it than you want to admit, either way I think you should absolutely tell your friend & I suggest you make it a priority & do it as soon as possible. Good luck.
