Is this internet connection speed decent?

I went to the speedtest website and ran a few tests over a few minutes. My internet speed was between 6.50 and 7.70 mbps.

My expected download speed was between 820.2 and 985.5 kb/sec.

I have cable internet.

Is this decent?

Not really that will give you Internet but that is all and you will be lucky to stay connected for more than a short time the more devices you connect and if you plan to game or stream video that speed will be useless.
