What is the equivalent resistance of a group of resistors?
The resistors are 2 ohm, 1 ohm, and 2 ohm. I know the formula is
Req= 1/R1+1/R2+1/R3
So Req=1/2+1/1+1/2=2
But 2 is not the correct answer? Am I doing something wrong? Please help, thanks!

You've got the formula slightly wrong.
1/Req = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3...
You determined that 1/Req = 2 so
Req = 0.5 ohms
