I have been told by everyone I know that I have a gift of singing and aan amazing voice and everything. I have been through a lot, and I have the strongest love for my girlfriend. But I dont know how to write it into a song. I love singing popular songs but I want one of my own. Need help on how to start writing my own

I'm no expert but one thing I can tell you is do NOT look at other songs for ideas. After doing so, those lines you liked will be all you'll be thinking about and it will be fairly difficult to come up with your own for awhile. I find the best way to write, is from experience. Keep your lyrics in the past and present, not future. I also find it easier to write some tabs out (I play guitar) before I write lyrics. And remember, not all songs rhyme! If you're looking for specific ideas for lyrics, you should keep that off of the Internet. It's easy for people to take the ideas. Good luck! Hope that's somewhat what you were looking for.
