Would the radiation from an atomic bomb dropped on Fort Knox change the gold into other elements by nuclear reactions and render its contents relatively worthless?

Just remember: That gold survived a supernova once upon a time. That was a tad more energetic than any atomic bomb.

A small amount of the gold would be neutron-activated to another, unstable, gold isotope.
