Police officers! How fast should I drive?

Please don't answer this if you're not a police officer, current or retired.

I'm learning to drive and I'm kind of timid right now. I'm pretty good, and I always try to follow the rules. The problem is, when I go the speed limit, normally whoever's behind me gets really close to me because they want me to go faster, which I really don't want to do. The drivers in my town are notoriously impatient. I want to stay at the speed limit, but normally I get really nervous and end up going 10 or even 15 miles over the speed limit because they keep pushing me to go faster and faster.

My parents tell me that I need to do the speed limit and that the people tailing me are just a**holes, but I've also been told that even if I'm going the speed limit, I can be arrested for being an obstruction to traffic if everyone else is ignoring the speed limit and going way faster than I am.

I want to be a good driver and I don't want to get in trouble, but I'm really confused. I really don't know what to do, and if an actual police officer could tell me what I will and won't get in trouble for, that would be fantastic. Elvis is NOT joking, but is WRONG. Legally, driving at the posted limit CAN'T be impeding traffic.
Drive the posted limit, in the right hand lane, and expect to be passed by other drivers.

Drive the speed limit. If other drivers are being impatient and tailgating, the safest thing to do is pull over and let them go past.

You're probably smart enough to know Elvis is joking but I'm makin sure you know .

And go the speed limit as much as you can dude . I mean duh if there's bunch of other cars on the road you can go as fast as them . If you're like the only one on the road make sure you're as close to the speed limit as possible .

I am not a cop, but i have asked one this question before. He said that 5-10 miles over is fine, and that he only pulled over if it were at least 8 miles over.
