Yamaha F100 outboard motor 4 stroke stopped running after I put a new water pump in. What's wrong?

The oil level went super high and went all over the place when I pulled the stick out. Is water pumping into the oil from the pump housing? I only replaced the impeller.

We always say to go back to the last thing that was done so why don't you pull the water pump out and see what happened, you know it is not going to be good don't you.

Sounds like maybe you damaged a seal.
