ok so im going to be a freshmen and im nearly half a foot shorter than everyone. Im only 4 10 and i look like a five yr old bc im skinny too. I was just wondering if im too short. I have blonde hair and green eyes but i feel like shortness makes me look wierd. thanks

I did a study on height so I hope I can help you. A lot of people will tell you that no height is 'too short'. In a way they are right, because in relationships there are perfectly happy couples with a height difference of more than a foot, in business there are successful people who are your height and fully grown, there are actors your height in major films and tv shows...
But what I think you really mean is whether your height makes you stand out in a bad way? The answer is to some people it will, but to other people it could make you stand out in a good way. Different people have different opinions on things like that. It's true to say that at age 14 the average height of a girl is 5'3, but in every 100 girls there should be several your height, just like there will be girls over 5'9.
Even though there's nothing you can do (apart from eating plenty of healthy food) to help your body to grow, there are things you can do that will help you to feel less like you stand out because of your height. It isn't just about wearing heels, although that can be part of it. Lots of different styles of clothes, or even different hairstyles, can make you look taller and make your height stand out less.
