What is the Order of Battle in military terminology?

My main problem is I can't figure out if it is the same as a Battle Plan. I think Order of Battle is used to designate the setup (supplies, disposition, command structure) before executing a Battle Plan.

The modern use of Order of Battle has to do with the hierarchical organization, command structure, strength, disposition of personnel, and equipment of units and formations of the armed force.

The short answer is; Find the enemy....then kill him.
