Weird problem with Winstar. Three mechanics have been unable to diagnose.?

Winstar?? RV? Try RV place or try another place that isnt as cheap. Sometimes, problems arent that easily to either duplicate or pinpoint. This job isnt as easy as plugging a scan tool in & it tell you what to replace kind of job unlike some people seems to think.

Oil light may be an internal engine issue. Can be a ground issue. Sounds like it could be a IPC issue.

Mechanics no, Guys with tool boxes do not a mechanic make. Verification of the actual oil pressure with a stand alone gauge would be a good step or even reading the resistance of the sending unit with a VOM would be suitable. A check of the gauge cluster, they do have problems at times, would also be a step in the right direction. What combination of codes did they come up with?

Oil light - always on. Check Engine light - always off, even at startup. Replaced computer 3 times; it made no difference at all. Replaced oil sending unit. Didn't fix the problem. Codes were ambiguous, but suggested a computer problem. The car runs fine, but won't pass inspection! Help!

Computer replaced 3 times...you have to be joking, and 3 mechanics, come on now.
Take the car to one real mechanic.
