Calculating the height of a roof pitch?

I want o build a shed that is 4 feet wide. I want to have the roof 8 feet long. I want one wall to be the high point. I want a 2 foot covered spot beside the shed. I also want an overhang of 1 foot, measured along the 8 foot dimension.

How much higher does the high wall need to be to achieve it?

a 4 foot shed with 1 foot over hang on one side and a 2 foot overhang on the other side means it will be 5 feet of roof over the 4 foot span, so one wall would need to be 3 feet higher than the other giving you a 9/12 pitch to the roof

3-4-5 triangle. Obvious math test or homework question. Figure it out yourself...
