Windows 10 upgrade process ?

I have a Dell inspirion 1545 laptop that came with Windows 7.  I bought a license for Windows 8 upgrade when it was released. My laptop is running now Windows 8.1.  Now that Windows 10 will be coming out I am thinking of upgrading to Windows 10.  However I noticed on my laptop that I didn't get a upgrade icon on the taskbar near the clock like most other computers.  Does that mean my computer isn't able to run Windows 10.

This Model is not tested and it is not compatible with Windows 10. Unsupported system types do not list affected hardware and are not recommended for upgrade to Windows 10 by Dell.
