If the landlord wants rent ($1300) plus one and a half month's rent as security, then you need to pay $3250 to move in (one month's rent of $1300 plus $1950 for a month and half security).If the "month and a half" includes the first month's rent plus your security deposit, then you need to come up with $1950 to move in. You need to clarify with your landlord, and get an itemized receipt of whatever you pay him.
