Is it ok to offend peoples beliefs, even if they're deeply held religious beliefs?

I personally think yes. But it is certainly not acceptable to believe that you have rights and privileges over someone because you believe your imaginary friend is against something that you also believe he created and love anyways, yeah I'm talking about homosexuals.

Yes.

Offending those who hold offensive beliefs is imperative if we want a better world.

But you have to pick your time and place. You can't just run around offending people for your own amusement and being an ar$ehole.

its mostly a 'change of society' that bothers people, or at least that how i read it ... if you had an island nation of people that absolutely hated anything the color pink .. and some douche came along demanding his rights to paint everything pink it would cause a problem in your society thats been the same for hundreds of years .. yeah technically this 'pink guy' has a right .. but why let him upset your established society ... so thats what we're dealing with more or less ..

Yes, Free Speech allows you to say whatever you like as long as you aren't advocating violence or deliberately attempting to cause harm to others. I can say that Jesus liked to make sweet tender love to donkeys, and not a thing can be done to me for it. However, it's still rude to insult others without good cause.

People who are easily offended are always offended and never happy.
Try to be happy, love someone rather than point fingers at them.
So stop whining and get over it. Try something new
