Line in Old testament on Graven images being a death sentence for copyrighting film about Jesus made in Hollywood?

The old testament states none shall worship graven images.
Could this mean instead Christians wished to kill people who put copyright notices of prosecution for copying images of Jesus Christ. Or could it mean just that they would just kill lawyers and people seeking to profit off their faith with copyright notices and clams to ownership.
