Are pointed crystal necklaces "dangerous"?

I was going to buy one and my dad says I can poke/ stab myself on accident.

Haha nooo, don't worry, I have a little collection of 11 crystal wand pointed necklaces that I wear all the time, never have I hurt myself with them. If they are extra sharp and you are still concerned, I would just be careful and don't fall asleep with them on. Plus as a joke you can tell your dad "that beauty is painful." :)
