Why are some vocal people, who don't like faith, religion, or spirituality, so dependent on logical fallacies to justify their disagreements?

It happens quite a lot in the R&S section, that you probably just need to view the last several question/answer sets to see what I mean (assuming you already know what logical fallacies are). How is it logical or rational to rely on logical fallacies in this manner?
