How to ask parents to let me invest?

So I live in Austrlia, I am 15, have some knowledge, and a big interest in investing in stocks through the ASX. Basically I don t know how I should ask my parents if I can get into investing. The one particular stock I would like to buy is in Cooperate Travel Management (ASX:CTD). They have been growing strongly over the past few years and could be the next flight centre. Basically I don t know how to ask.

Fun fact: I m going to walk down Wall Street tomorrow (kind of keen).

Thanks!

You just have to ask them. The P/E on that stock is over 38.

That means that they have to have huge growth in their earnings just to keep their current price. You think you've found a company that will make a lot of money, but the very high P/E tells us that everyone else thinks the same thing, and this is already priced in to the stock. If they do anything less than the huge growth that everyone is expecting, the stock will drop.

You need to learn more about investing before you invest.

you need them to help open a custodial brokerage acct - you are more likely to lose money investing than make money

You have to be 18 before you can conduct any financial matters.
