Undefeated in the Regular Season? I would say that is impossible..even dominant teams will have off days...it is very hard to always be on top of your game for 82 matches
Undefeated in the Playoffs is actually possible imo, it never happened and it is definitely unlikely but the Lakers and Sixers came close to it and only dropped 1 each. Now that we have a very weak Eastern Conference it is definitely possible for Lebron's Cavs this year to sweep the East.....I don't think they can sweep the Western Conference Champion under normal circumstances but it is not super unlikely and we might see a team that drops 0 games in the playoffs some time.

Probably not. It's a difficult feat. The closest any team has come was the 1971-72 Lakers with 33 wins. The best finishing record was 72 and 10 by the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls.
Such a feat would require an easy schedule and every player would have to be at the top of their game every game from October to April.

Only if a team wins a few games, then a player strike,or owner lock out severely shortens a season.
?
No. That's almost 100 straight wins including playoffs. Too many things have to go right.

Yes, a future Lakers team will.
