Creative way to keep dishes in my room?
I moved into a single room with no shelve or cupboards and do not know what to do with my clean / dirty dishes or how to pack them neatly ? I do not own a car so can't go buy anything heavy ?

Get a dishpan. You can wash the dishes in the sink or in the dish pan then once rinsed and dried the dishpan can be rinsed out and dried and the dishes and silver ware can be place in the dishpan for storage.
If you are real short on storage space and do not expect to have visitors for any meals get a camping set that will contain a plate. silverware and I think a mug all in one nesting set that is easy to store. They are aluminum, light and small. Not a great way to "dine" but alright for eating. Search for "Mess Kits"

Hit the garage sales and look for those aluminum shelves, you'll need them anyway. And the yard sales are cheap sources just don't fall for the plastic ones, they're unstable. If you don't have any near you then try plastic milk baskets, turned on their sides you can built a two or three box high storage center. In the olden days of my youth, we used bricks and boards for shelves. I don't know how much money you have but if its not a great problem, try Wayfair or Home Depot and have them send it.

Do you have a sink? Clean dishes on one side, and dirty dishes on the other. Unless you plan to buy cabinets, there is nothing else you can do but just stack them up in a pile on the counter.
?
a plate stand would be great for your clean stuff. for your dirty dishes, just get a drying rack to put next to the sink or if you have a double sink, just use it in one side.

Get some crates and create your own shelving. You can get plastic ones at most stores and they are light enough to carry.
