The reality is that Osweiler is auditioning for a job for next year.
His rookie contract is up at the end of this year.
Will Denver resign him or will some other team?
He has played well, which only ups the value of his next contract.

I thought Manning should have retired last year, but instead, they fired John Fox. Manning was the sole reason they lost in the playoffs. He should man-up and step down. Brock has been looking good for the last two years in the pre-season and when he was allowed to play at the end of games where we had a substantial lead.

There's no way Manning returns unless Brock gets hurt. The Wizard of Os has secured the job for the season and possibly a few seasons.

Oh yes. He has proven that he deserves a chance to be Denver's next QB. He can throw and can run Kubiak's system. He just needs field time to correct his mistakes and get on the same page with some of the receivers. Even if Denver had lost he still earned it.

Has he earned the starting job? Yes. Has he secured it probably not you aren't gonna have one of the best QB's ever sit on the bench in the playoffs and possibly into the SB.
