Is capsaicin the next 'miracle' drug?

I've read lots of studies that show capsaicin can destroy cancer cells and leave the healthy ones intact. I've also read a study that shows how it has potential antibiotic properties. Why isn't capsaicin used in hospitals? It's toxicity is fairly low and it shows lots of promise.
