What is the difference between people who wear eye glasses to help with sight ?

I know some people struggle to read small text up close, others like me can read small text fine, but struggle with things far away by example the tv and score of the sport game despite viewing on hd. What is the difference in glasses , different names for each vision problem etc..

If you can't see things as you described it is commonly referred to as"near sighted". If you can't see up close but from a distance it is called "far sighted and if you can see well from all distances it is call an "astigmatism."

People who can't see up close are far sighted. Those who can't see far away are near sighted.

you're either near-sighted or far-sighted - look up the terms - lenses are curved differently for each type of vision

Needing glasses to see things close up is called hyperopia, or far-sightedness. Needing glasses to see things far away is called hyperopia, or near-sightedness.
