New place for Japan Yahoo! Answers community?

If Yahoo! Answers dies, are you going to "move" to a different website to participate in discussions about Japan? If so, would you share?

(-: Personally, I'm torn. It would be much better for my productivity if I stopped dispensing "advice" and snark. I wouldn't mind writing for Tofugu, though, if they'd have me.

This isn't showing up, is it?

There was some discussion about this on the Yahoo Answers section. Someone linked to this: http://www.cnet.com/news/what-should-yahoo-get-rid-of/ which says that Yahoo is in trouble. Mail, search and sports should be safe, the article says, but everything else could get the axe.

Who knows what's true? Not me. Other Japan advice forums, like the ones at gaijinpot, have stopped working. https://www.reddit.com/r/japan/comments/2kg217/serious_what_really_led_to_the_gaijinpot_forums/

Yeah, I'm perfectly willing to move elsewhere if YA dies. I'm presently writing up an article on the 45th anniversary of the death of Yukio Mishima. I will share the link here when it is done.

So Y!A is dead for other people, too? I can't find any new questions in the last 2 weeks or so. I was wondering if it was only on my computer or for others as well.

Anyway, I don't know any other site like Y!A. So I would not move to another one. But if you are talking about any website on Japan(not just Q&A site in English), I know some.

to be fair this site is just a site for trolls anyway. Anyone with serious questions on Japan use japanguide.com

What for? To talk about $15 bottles of beer and banana shows? Unless you are rich, Japan has been a drag since 1982.
