What are your thoughts on the upcoming Braxton The Porcupine album?

Rumor has it, Braxton is working on some new material for 2016, inside sources are saying he's going solo and leaving his old band behind. Do you think it'll be a flop? Personally I'm excited, Too Many Pineapples was good for it's time but the world is ready for new Braxton The Porcupine music.

While Braxton's pineapples was a masterpiece it failed in comparison to Yung Blood Grimm's fighting tyranny 101. Everybody loves a good beef. Both artists became overnight internet sensations but through their success their fans became rivals.

One fanbase hated the other. Everybody called Grimm an old washed up has been of a drummer and claimed Braxton was some sort of messiah behind the drum kit.

If Braxton is making a return I find it a fascinating time for music but I wouldn't rule out rival band Yung Blood Grimm either. Rumor is that through all that gun smoke and pollution the legend is still working on new material.

Porcupine Album

Hi Hedzy, My fave album, by a nose over Deadwing & In Absentia, is Stupid Dream. At first my fave track from that was Piano Lessons, but now it shares top billing (depending on my mood at the time) with Stranger by the Minute and Even Less. As a bass player, on all three tracks I love the flow of the groove & the arrangement, the atmosphere unique to each, and the overall performance. Melodic and accessible, but with a hint of Pink Floydian/King Crimsonian sophistication, perhaps.
