What is your opinion on bullying?

I have a created a Facebook page on Anti-Bullying called "Cherish One". That stands for cherishing one another. What is your opinion on bullying? Have you ever been bullied? Bullied people? What's your take?

I hate bullies. That's the point. The only reason why they bully though is so they can be the tough guy. I have been bullied most of my life and learned a few tricks to shut them up. I would love to join the group, but I don't have facebook. Well, have a good day.

Bullying is fully wrong, and it's not okay. However, I have a narcissistic sister that had long claimed to be a victim of bullying, and it took me a while to realize that she was never in fact the victim, but rather a manipulative narcissist who would provoke people in various ways. These people would later on gang up on her to get back at her for being the way she was and she would claim she was being bullied as a result. All these kids were saying she was causing them problems and she was trying to get them all to turn against one another and they figured out she was being manipulative and decided to put her in her place. While that is a form of bullying, it still was provoked. I never saw her as manipulative and always saw her as my innocent little sister who I would act as a big tough goon for her to scare anyone away who would "harm" her.

It wasn't until my wife made her a bridesmaid during my wedding when we realized that my sister was in fact a manipulative person. My sister would try to make everything during the wedding be about herself without offering any real help, all while demanding that we do things a certain way as she would have liked. She basically acted like a Bridezilla without being the bride. We would politely turn down her ideas, and she would tell the other bridesmaids and groomsmen her ideas and try and impose her ideas on them. When we realized she was being this way, we confronted her on it and she denied it and claimed all the bridesmaids were trying to turn against her. Later on we found out that was spreading rumors about my wife and her family to other wedding guests with only a month left before the wedding. We decided that was the last straw and we had my sister removed as a bridesmaid. She showed up to the wedding dressed all in white (which no one should ever do except for the bride), and was the first person to leave the reception shortly after dinner was served. We do not speak to her anymore, yet she still continues to tell people her story of having been a victim of bullying by kids in school, and now tells people that her brother (me) and sister in law abuse her and do things to harm her (despite the fact that we simply just won't talk to her after everything she did during the wedding that she never apologized for).

My point is everyone at some point in their life has been marginalized and picked on for something. It isn't right, and it never will be. However, take everyone's story with a grain of salt. You may encounter someone only giving their side of the story and not acknowledging the things they've done to others, or the things they've done to provoke their alleged bullies.

I am thrilled that society now pays attention to the topic at all.

As a kid I learned that bullies understand exactly one thing - Violence against them to make you too expensive a target to bully. So I punched out a bully in elementary school gym to put an end to it for two years. Then fought a guy to put an end to it for the rest of elementary school. Then the cycle returned for junior high school.

I was bullied at junior school until I was eight years old,my grandfather who was a Costamunger sent me to a famous boxing club in Battersea LONDON I learnt to box and enjoy boxing, where you learn to take a punch in the face, and ignore it,most bullies are cowards and tend to pick their victims, after about six months at the club I decided to hell with it all the guy can do who was trying to bully me,was hit me and I was now used to that in the boxing club I was taught to punch some one 2 feet past the back of their head that way you deliver a hard blow without holding it back,as he came towards me I let fly with a very hard right hook into his face this this sat him down on his butt,he burst into tears and never came near me again.

bullying is pretty fun, though some people take it too far. i think a little bullying is alright because it helps correct bad behavior. like, in middle school there were always these loud and annoying kids that would never stop talking, so they were bullied until they learned to keep quiet like decent people. the teachers didn't even like them, i think they were grateful we bullied them
