What do you think about Obama Care?

Obamacare is better than the proposed "single payor" system proposed by so-called "progressives" what promise free, and equal medical care for everyone.

"Free" sounds good and "equal" sounds good, but when they say "single payer" that means that the only entity that could legally pay for medical bills would be the government. Why am I opposed to this? I think that it would be unamerican to make it a crime to pay for your own medical bills. Besides, there is a saying in business that the price is irrelevant if there is no availability.

What good is free medical care, if you can't get it at all?

It's been better than we were told it would be. My premiums didn't go up for a third year in a row. And I get my own health insurance rather than getting stuck with the plans my employer will contribute to. My taxes are not higher. And nothing is different about my relationship with my doctors.
So...I am happy with it.

12 million more signed up this last cycle. Lowest uninsured rates of any time in history. Medical sector is booming.

The ACA plan is better than what came before, and single payer would be better yet.
