This thing is so ******* annoying. Literally everything is blocked. I guess my dad set it that way, and I understand why. I looked up a Steam engine, and it was blocked cause it had the word "steam" in it. Like WTF? Is there a way i can bypass this without anyone knowing?

For this you need to turn off Netgear Firewall or else go ahead with another trustworthy firewall
For disabling you need to follow the steps mentioned below:
1. Type "192.168.0.1" into the address bar of your browser. Press "Enter" on your keyboard. This will take you to Netgear router configuration panel.
2. Type your username and password in the appropriate fields to log into the panel.
3. Select the "Security" option from the navigation menu. Click "Firewall Rules".
4. Select the option to "Add" a new rule for inbound traffic.
5. Choose the "Any" option for "Inbound Service Name". Select the "Allow Always" option for the firewall action. Enter these same rules for the "Outbound Service Name".
6. Click on the "Enable" option to save your new firewall rules.
Netgear Firewall is not the best firewall. Some of the best firewalls according to ratings by AV-TEST are Comodo and ZoneAlarm.

Pick it up and throw it out of the window.
